Water Matters Day – a mosaic in the landscape

Annually, Broward County hosts an environmental event designed to create public awareness of the importance of water and showcasing the efforts of cities, businesses, and individuals to forward this message.

The Town of Southwest Ranches has participated in this event since its inception 12 years ago, with examples of ways the community of Southwest Ranches conserves water.

In 2012 and 2013, our wildlife habitat display gardens illustrated ways to create beauty in the landscape while fostering native wildlife and conserving water.
